On-site wastewater Systems

Proper treatment and disposal of household effluent is an essential requirement for operating on-site wastewater systems, not only for the health of people living within the property, but also for those outside of it, and the environment as a whole.

As council approved assessors, LDE have the geological, geotechnical and environmental engineering expertise to assess your site for is specific ability to accept effluent, and also to design a treatment and disposal system for effluent.

We focus on designing systems that are as cost effective as possible over the long term, so that you can save money on power and maintenance costs and the requirement for regular testing and inspections required by some systems that regularly get recommended by others as a matter of course (i.e. AWT Systems).

 While the upfront costs can be more in terms of the site consultation costs (assessment and system design), the actual cost of the system and its installation costs can be far less, as can the cost of the inspections (e.g. 5 yearly instead of 6 monthly).
